    Hi! My name is Kristen Morgan and I'm the owner of LanierStar. I photograph Weddings and Portraits throughout NE Florida and I'm available for travel. My personality is fun and laid back, which helps people feel comfortable around me. I'm also a self described laugh enthusiast (when you meet me you'll get it). At the same time my years spent managing businesses ensures that your experience will be positive and professional. My photography style is candid, using photojournalism to capture you in real life. No stuffy poses or forced smiles! The portraits I take are artistic and I use creative processing to bring them to life.

Nicole & Corey wed at St. John’s Golf and Country Club | St. Augustine, FL wedding photographer

What better way to say Happy Valentine’s than by sharing a wedding with red as the main color?  :)

Nicole and Corey first contacted me in 2009 about photographing their 2011 wedding.  I knew then that Nicole was a planner and wanted to take her time and do this right.  However a couple of weeks later she emailed me to say that there had been a slight change of plans.  Surprise!  Nicole was pregnant and they were moving up the wedding just a bit…  Like by a year!  After meeting with Nicole and her future MIL and GMIL (that’s Mother-in-Law and Grandmother-In-Law, haha) I could see she had plenty of  loving hands to help her out.  And, can I just tell you a funny story from when we met for our consultation?  Nicole’s future GMIL took photos of us with her disposable film camera so she could use them in a scrapbook she was making for Nicole.  I rarely have my photo taken, and never at a consultation, so I won’t soon forget that.  Plus, I love how all the grandmothers I know use disposable film cameras!  In just a few short months Nicole and Corey put together a beautiful event at St. John’s Golf and Country Club in St. Augustine, FL.  The wedding was full of good times- between their crazy friends, golf cart races and dance moves!  Now it’s on to Phase 2… Baby!
