Hello! I am Kristen Morgan- a girl in her 30's (when did that happen?!?) and a laugh enthusiast who's world revolves around my "sonshine". I love things made from paper, the water, Mexican food with margaritas, flip-flop weather and iPhone-tography. I also love "real" cameras, which is where this website comes in to play. I'm the owner of LanierStar Photography and a full-time photographer based in the St. Augustine / Jacksonville, FL area.

LanierStar photographs Weddings and Portraits throughout North and Central Florida, and SE Georgia. I'm also available for travel. My personality is fun and laid back, which helps people feel comfortable around me. At the same time my years spent managing businesses ensures that your experience will be positive and professional. My photography style is candid, using photojournalism to capture you in real life. Then I combine that with artistic portraiture and an attention to details to fully capture your day.

JJ & Kelly’s Club Wed | Jacksonville, FL wedding photographers | Mandarin Presbyterian Church

JJ & Kelly’s April wedding was one of the most fun weddings I have ever been to. It made me wish I was attending it and not working, although I had plenty of fun while I was working! JJ & Kelly are an awesome couple, which you know for sure when you find yourself talking with other vendors about what a great couple you are working with! This was such a great wedding that I think JJ & Kelly need to open a club where they get married every weekend. Then I’ll get to see them along with all of their wonderful friends and family on a regular basis. :) And, now for some photos!

These guys knew how to get ready in style. They had an awesome spread!

After the ceremony Kelly whips out the Blackberry. I think she was updating her status on facebook to “married”. ;)

The reception was held at a private residence on the St. John’s River. What a fantastic setting!

In the far right photo you can see the lights of the Buckman Bridge twinkling on the horizon.

After the sun went down the party really started. They had an incredible DJ that I will be recommending to all of my couples- Jeff from D’Land Entertainment.

So, the first thing that I do every morning since you have put the pictures up, is look through all of them again and comment to JJ about how awesome they. I can not thank you enough for the fantastic job that you did!!! I think we might try to get married again or maybe just throw another big party so you can take more pictures and hang out with us!

But, from the moment we met at Starbuck’s, we were both sold! A-maz-ing photos! There are so many exceptional ones that I honestly don’t know that we can limit the ones we want. Having you, Kristen, be part of our wonderful day was a gift. Thank you, for sharing our joy and for using your giftedness to record the day for all of us. Looking at your photos is such a fun thing to do because they are not the typical run-of-the-mill wedding photos. From the lighting to the journalistic touches, they bring me joy each time I look at them . . . and that’s often!! You rock, girl!

OMIGOODNESS!!! I love these! You look spectacular Mrs. Keitzer…and JJ doesn’t look too shabby either! There are so many things to love – first: The first three pics on the website are me drinking champagne, mandy putting on your makeup, and cosmo. how perfect. THEN I love the pictures of the kick dance, us hugging, and me and mandy fussing over RP. And, I definitely love the one of Jason chillin’ on the lounger and the one of me and J and mom and dad from across the pool. Not to mention all the ridic dancing pics. But, most of all, I love that they capture the true joy that we all feel for you and JJ and reflect the love that you two share. Thanks so much Kristen for capturing these memories!!
