I am a gigglebox by nature. Laughter is just a big part of my personality, so my sessions tend to be a lot of fun. Well, I definitely met kindred souls in Pete and Ashley. During their engagement session I actually found myself saying, “Ok, we have to be serious for a minute”. Otherwise I would have only had pictures of them with their mouths open in guffaws and eyes closed in hysteria.
The wedding was at Jacksonville’s new Main Library in downtown. Gorgeous venue! I was very excited to shoot here for the first time and hope to be there again. This was the same weekend as Bobby Bowden’s last game coaching the Florida State Seminoles. Ashley is an FSU alumni and attended the game the day before the wedding. Now that is a Seminole fan! During the reception the FSU fight song was played and most of the guests broke out into the “Tomohawk Chop”. (I mistakenly referred to this move as ‘hatchet hand” and was laughingly corrected by Ashley.)

Thank you both for such a fun wedding and the chance to work at a new location. Hope you loved the cruise! Sorry you had to come home! :) Kristen
