The first time I met Angela I know I was going to love their wedding. She and I were able to solve most of the world’s problems sitting at Starbucks. She has a great sense of style, fab hair and was gorgeous to boot! I knew we’d get some great portraits. This couple did not disappoint! The wedding was amazing and they included a lot of personal touches to make it their own.
The ceremony and reception took place at The Loft in St. Augustine, FL (part of The White Room). I love this space! A very cool venue filled with light, exposed brick, beautiful decor and greenery, a rooftop lounge space and a super helpful staff.
At each wedding I photograph a lot of the details, but at this wedding I also found myself photographing really cool tattoos! There was a lot of fabulous ink showing.
Angela walked down the aisle to The Beatles played by The Jax String Quartet. (They also entertained the guests as they waited for the ceremony to begin.) The music at the reception was a cool mix of oldies from the 40′s to the 80′s. The color of the day was green and daisies were on display. Angela and Christian seemed to be able to spend time with all of their friends and family, and truly enjoy the party that they had planned. Here are the rest of their photos~

The groom, Christian. As you can see he is very serious and it was tough to get him to loosen up. ;) He reminded me so much of Joaquin Phoenix!

And then we went off to do their newlywed portraits! I love it when we can schedule it like this and not be rushed.
