This week was my b’day and I turned 35. I really can not believe that I am that old. Not that I think I’m ancient or anything. I guess it’s just that time has moved so fast the past couple of years, combined with the fact that my 20′s seemed to last for such a long time. 35 seemed so far away- so foreign. I still feel like I’m the same person I was at 27- and my mind seems stuck there. When people ask my age I honestly have to stop and think. Every birthday after 30 just hasn’t seemed real.
Anyway, I had a really nice b’day. My parents & step-mom came over and we had lunch together. We also looked through a bunch of old photos, which is where I found this next gem of a photo. I just loved it, so I’m sharing. This is so “me as a kid”-

That night we went out with some friends to the Cheesecake Factory. I think that is the best place to go with a group of people because of the amazing menu- something for everyone. I had
EVELYN’S FAVORITE PASTA
Penne Tossed with Broccoli, Oven-Dried Tomato, Roasted Eggplant,
Peppers, Artichoke, Kalamata Olives, Basil, Garlic, Pine Nuts and Parmesan Cheese
Thanks again for dinner, Corrina, Vanessa, Steve & John! :)
November is a busy b’day month. My brother is the 5th, mom-in-law on the 3rd and I have friends on 9th, 13th, 21st- and more I can’t remember off-hand. Also, my husband’s birthday is on the 1st. He gave himself a very nice gift this year-

I also bought myself a couple of gifts for my birthday-

Hope you’re having a nice November. :)
