  • Love, laughs, photographs…

Hi! My name is Kristen Morgan and I'm the owner of LanierStar. I photograph Weddings and Portraits throughout NE Florida and I'm available for travel. My personality is fun and laid back, which helps people feel comfortable around me. I'm also a self described laugh enthusiast (when you meet me you'll get it). At the same time my years spent managing businesses ensures that your experience will be positive and professional. My photography style is candid, using photojournalism to capture you in real life. No stuffy poses or forced smiles! The portraits I take are artistic and I use creative processing to bring them to life.

Please scroll down so you can read the blog. This is where the action happens since it is updated much more frequently than the website! Primarily I use it to showcase the latest sessions, but I also talk about my life. Hopefully by reading through you can get a feel for what I'm like and how LanierStar operates. And, if you click on those grey tabs to the left you can hook up with LanierStar on facebook, twitter and get emails!

Please use the Contact tab to get in touch with me so we can plan your portrait session or talk about your wedding. I can also be reached at 904.639.5960.

    Talk soon!

Sharing an awesome video- Zack Arias

I love photographer Zack Arias- just so down to earth, genuine, giving and incredibly talented.  When he talks I feel like I’m listening to a friend.  He made a video and posted it to Scott Kelby’s (Photoshop guru) blog.  It is a must-see for anyone that has wondered about their art, their impact on the world or had a dark time.  CLICK HERE to see what Zach had to say about his mini-movie (i love how much he loves his wife) and then  CLICK HERE to check out the video.  It really touched me today.  A very powerful message- probably even more so for me because of having recently lost my dad to throat cancer.  The dad who gave me my first camera, who stood behind me and always believed in me.

Thank you to Zack for sharing.
