In Memory of the victims of the disasters in Japan I will have a day of silence on the blog, Friday, March 18.

I would like to ask anyone who can make a donation to assist the survivors to please do so.

If you are looking for a charity to donate to then please consider ShelterBox. ShelterBox provides emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies for families around the world who are affected by disasters at the time when they need it the most. Each large, green ShelterBox is tailored to a disaster but typically contains a disaster relief tent for an extended family, blankets, water storage and purification equipment, cooking utensils, a stove, a basic tool kit, a children’s activity pack and other vital items.

LanierStar Photography Now Hiring! Wedding Day Assistants : Amelia Island/Jacksonville/St. Augustine, FL

Now accepting resumes for a Wedding Day Assistant. This is not a second photographer position, but may include light shooting. Any images would remain copyright of LanierStar Photography. Primary responsibilities will include assisting main photographer throughout the wedding day with equipment, set-ups and organizing. Professional demeanor, attire and people skills are required. Workdays will mainly be on weekends, so your schedule should accommodate that. You do not need your own equipment. Working knowledge of Nikon systems is a plus.
