Hello! I am Kristen Morgan- a girl in her 30's (when did that happen?!?) and a laugh enthusiast who's world revolves around my "sonshine". I love things made from paper, the water, Mexican food with margaritas, flip-flop weather and iPhone-tography. I also love "real" cameras, which is where this website comes in to play. I'm the owner of LanierStar Photography and a full-time photographer based in the St. Augustine / Jacksonville, FL area.

LanierStar photographs Weddings and Portraits throughout North and Central Florida, and SE Georgia. I'm also available for travel. My personality is fun and laid back, which helps people feel comfortable around me. At the same time my years spent managing businesses ensures that your experience will be positive and professional. My photography style is candid, using photojournalism to capture you in real life. Then I combine that with artistic portraiture and an attention to details to fully capture your day.

Brittany and I have been trying to do this session for a year. I mean literally one year and 2 days from the original session date until the day I came to her house! Originally this was a session for she and her husband with their 2 dogs. Then a water pipe broke the day of the session. So, the next time we tried to get together was when she had extended family in town. Well, the morning of that session I came down with the stomach flu- you know the really horrible one that was going around. I shudder remembering that! Next thing you know Brittany is having a baby so we decided to postpone the session until Miss G was born. Well, it was worth the wait! Here she is in all of her 3 month glory. Isn’t she beautiful?!?

The eyes! The eyelashes! I just fell in love as soon as I saw her.

The next one is a little goofy, but I think it’s so cute! She wanted my camera. Future photog perhaps?

And, just a little moment between mama & baby before I left. Being a super baby model is hard work…

Thank you for everything, Brittany! Hope Mr. brought home some fish. Can’t wait until G hits 6 months!

I am so pleased with Kristen and her work. She was able to capture Gabby in one of her sweetest moments. I am so happy with the way the pictures turned out. When I saw the first one I just cried like I was seeing Gabby for the first time. Everyone says you always think your baby is beautiful well Kristen captured that beauty for all to see. I also love all the comments, Gabby is so blessed to be loved and cherished by so many people. We truly are very very blessed and even more blessed to have found such an amazing photographer to capture Gabbys growth.
