    Hello! My name is Kristen Morgan- a girl in her 30's (I swear I don't know when that happened!) and a laugh enthusiast (see exhibit A to your left), who's world revolves around my "sonshine", Jett (owner of the cute smile in exhibit A). I love anything made of paper, Mexican food with margaritas, flip-flop weather and iPhone-tography. I also love "real" cameras, which is where this website comes in to play. I'm the owner of LanierStar Photography and a full-time photographer based in the St. Augustine/Jacksonville, FL area.

    LanierStar photographs Weddings and Portraits throughout NE Florida and SE Georgia. I'm also available for travel. My personality is fun and laid back, which helps people feel comfortable around me. At the same time my years spent managing businesses ensures that your experience will be positive and professional. My photography style is candid, using photojournalism to capture you in real life. Then I combine that with artistic portraiture.

5 Year Wedding Anniversary gift- Wood? No way- LanierStar Photography!

I am very honored that Josh and Taylor chose a session with LanierStar Photography as a 5 year anniversary gift to themselves.  Forget wood (the traditional gift) or silverware (the modern alternative)-  A custom photo session is the way to go!  This couple put a lot of thought into what they wanted and we bopped around Ortega and Riverside in Jacksonville on our little photo hunt.  Many thanks to Walker’s for allowing us to shoot inside!  (And, if you haven’t been, this place is a must visit!  Check them out online at http://www.walkersbar.com/or in person at the corner of Post & King.)  These guys were very adventurous and were willing to go along with my crazy thoughts- although I still laugh to think of Josh saying, “You want me to stand where?”  Here is a sampling of pictures.  I really had to limit myself because I loved this session.  Every little bit!
